The War Machine hearts The Media (yay!)

You know something has gone horribly wrong in this so-called "Democracy" when the company which feeds you news and information is the same company that works for defense contracts from the war machine! That just doesn't make sense, or even seem legal to me, but it's sad and unfortunately true according to recent reports. The company I'm referring to is NBC...one of the US's biggest and oldest nationwide media corporations having been first formed in 1926. This all recently came to light because an internal NBC memo reveals that Phil Donahue, who happened to have the highest rated show on the network, was fired for making anti-war comments, execs initially claimed he was fired for poor ratings! So they took a loss because they didn't want their most popular host making anti-war, anti-republican comments. Furthermore, NBC has been accused of accepting defense contracts! Well they say, in journalism you're only as good as your reputation, so I think it's pretty safe to say that NBC "America's Latenight Leader" have just been revealed as another FOX-quality fear-inducing propaganda machine with no integrity whatsoever. Oh well...too bad for us I suppose. For now I'm gonna stick with The Onion. Maybe tNBC can change their logo to someone pulling wool over our eyes...I know that'd be a hard logo to pull off but hey it's appropriate right?
