Soundbwoy killers

Deadly Dragon Sound know Jamaican music like Ronald McDonald knows burgers...which is to say they know it better than most. They are NYC's premiere downtown location for everything reggae; whether you're looking for mix CDs, vinyl (they got that rare 7" you need), books, and even related clothing such as t-shirts, including Selector! and much more. They have been behind some great reggae parties in downtown Manhattan, and they even set up events with well-respected reggae artists, a recent memorable one being for Carlton Livingston of "Trodding Through The Jungle" fame...You definitely wanna peep the spot if you're in the area: 102-B Forsyth Street New York, NY 10002. The DDS massive have very generously hit us off with their Year Of The Gun 2CD mix (to include alongside Selector tees while stocks last) which is dedicated to all gunman chune fans...on it you'll find the likes of Barrington Levy's "Murderer," Bounty Killer's "Copper Shot," and Cobra's "Gundelero" alongside many many more classic badman anthems. It's over 2hr hours of fiyah! Nuff informer fi dead! This is the flipside to reggae's rootsy "Peace & Love" stylee...and it's only appropriate when you consider how rough life in Jamaica can be, with one of the highest murder rates on earth (per head of capita). So with that said, take a peep at this excellently produced short film about the Deadly Dragon Sound fam and what they do:
