Yeah, you too

So while SERV and Neems are off in Spain living it up, the rest of the crew is holding it down here in LA. Friday night was the jumpoff at the Larchmont which saw me and Japes and Chadypooh and Mr44 not to mention 3sixteen Yohan all holdin it down, enjoying the good company, and the music provided by DJ ROIAL 1 and co, and possibly the alcohol a little too much too. But wait, there's more. Saturday was blazing hot so I told Chadypooh to come kick it in Venice. So we're walking past that main part of the boardwalk, headed for the graf walls, and aiming for the beach, when we get distracted by this girl's 3 on 3 soccer game being held by Nike. These girls were about 12 years old and were ridiculously good. Then we looked over to our left and saw there were about 20 more of these games going on, and one big central stage with a stadium all surrounded with Nike Joga Bonito flags everywhere. Curiosity had got us by now so we wandered over to the main stage to see what was goin on over there. Meanwhile there's a DJ spinning music and chattering on the mic about all the games that are going on when..."and at the main stage we'll be featuring a performance by The Clipse at 4:15." "Dude, did you hear that?" "I think so." "Did he say The Clipse?" "I think so." "Here, at Venice Beach, at 4:15?" "I think so." So guess where we were at 4:15...thanks to Joga Bonito, aka Nike, we had front row seats for a short concert by The Clipse. I think it was probably the best day of the year to be on Venice Beach...this is what i call "living the good life."





They kept it short and sweet, peforming their best known tunes like What happened to that boy, Grindin, Mr Me Too and 3 or 4 more off of the We Got It 4 Cheap mixtapes. Man...what a dope day.
