Bombaclot shoot the Bonfire Wally-mon

Look what I found pon youtube. Classic shit. Herbie Hancock sample, Supercat, Biggie (in his second apperance ever, the first being Party and Bullshit), Third Eye (remember him?), Mary J Blige and even a semi-tolerable verse by Mr. Combs. A glance into a Bad Boy of a better time.

Weekly Drop

The fellas at Weekly Drop have interviewed our friend, founder, cult-leader, the fashion industry's answer to Dr. Phil, the new Vince Chase, the gatekeeper to Vacuum World, Nimaneems, AKA Nima. So listen and learn about how DG nearly became your favorite mall store, and why we rejected big money for your benefit. We keeps it real! So click the pic for the jump...and then click somewhere and make it play (we challenge you to figure that part out on your own) there are some other dope interviews up on there too so take a scroll thru weekly drop's world if you haven't already...

ColorNinjas Humpday Havoc

I'm only one step ahead of misery...

Came across this awesome and equally rare track which is pretty much impossible to find on vinyl (except for that bootleggy Rawkus breaks album perhaps), on Youtube thanks to O-Dub of soul-sides and soul sights fame. Man this track could be a thesis statement on why America is still a great place to be, even if we do like to bomb foreign people too much sometimes. If you're up on your mid 90's hip-hop you'll recognize this as a big part of Mos Def's "Ms. Fat Booty" success...now if we could just start having sound clashes with fools instead of bombing them...we'd always win.

Just Don't Cook Crack

Nimaneems doesn't touch a stove unless he's grilling up delicious and stylisticly engraved hot dogs, so to keep his cottons clean while he sizzles, (or have you moved onto silks, playa?) he probably wishes he had one of these. Blogzilla will get down on some Mantha Stewart so he's peepin this and actin all mister me too.

Partytime, excellent (T-DOT, NYC, LA, SF, & CHI-TOWN)

White & Nerdy

Don't front, Weird Al has got skills...seriously this track has better flow than your average Eminem track (yeah I said it). For someone who only dabbles in hip-hop to make fun of himself, he's making more than a few MCs look second-rate:

You thought we wouldn't notice...

Man, I've had two coffees and I'm all ready to get on hypebeast and LOL and ROTFL all the way to lunchtime...when...to my dismay Hypebeast has gone down like Paris Hilton on nightvision...first it's don'tbelievethehypebeast.com and now HB??? What is a streetwear vet supposed to do in the morning I ask ya? Never fear...the talented cats behind Stencil Revolution (great site btw) have launched a blog dedicated to corporate/fashion biting of streetart...it's dope...check it:

Man...just when you're gettin into the whole "weekend" thing...sleeping late...lounging around and living the good life...BAM!! It's Monday morning again. But never fear, Danny and the Casual Suspects crew give us cause to celebrate once again with their Monday night regular...and word on the streets is...DJ Serv One will be serving up some sweet sweet dancehall in funsized portions so park your Ninja out front, order a red stripe, and prepare to wine up your waist.

I represent Harlem World...

...Not Melrose Place. At least that's what this tee from 3sixteen says, and look who the tee is on...none other than Uptown's own P. Diddy. Nice to see him showing some love and supporting our homies!

Not quite sure who to credit this pic to but it was posted on Hypebeast by PDRC.

Partytime, excellent (LA)

I know you're probably only just getting into weekend mode right now, but here's your monday night plans all taken care of once again thanks to our homies:

On the dubble

I think it's safe to say that at least half the people in the clothing game ended up here because they realized they weren't gonna make rent DJing at the local spot, or couldn't find a safe route into the music industry, or they went to one too many music industry parties and felt the nausea of discovering that the industry behind what we loved so dearly could be such a political and economical shark tank. That's right, it's possibly even more messed up than the fashion game. So with that said, and because Wally is down at the Agenda show in San Diego makin all the money, so we're presumably not getting our weekly Wally's music vid, I thought I'd take the opportunity to plug one of my favorite music blogs: Oliver Wang aka O-Dub's amazing Soul Sides. Chances are, you already know, but Oliver is an accomplished writer who has consistently taken the time to share some of his favorite music with the world...the site is sure to please diggers, soul junkies, and all sorts of rhythym addicts, just as his banner states. O-Dub has even published books on the same topics he blogs on, not to mention compiled some impressive CDs too. The JB tracks he has at the top are particularly dope...click on the pic for the jump. Enjoy!

That last post reminds me of this

the moral of the story is, hang out with guys in all black, and they will help your real life video games dreams come true, and then you will end up on youtube.

The Paris Hilton Video

Nope, not that one, the new one. The one where UK art guerilla Banksy goes and replaces Paris' CDs with the ones he adjusted carefully. Neems already posted the pics of the CDs he replaced on music store shelves, and this video basically just shows each step of that process, alongside some pretty well edited audio bites from Ms. Hilton herself, all over a kind of annoying electro beat which just works perfectly.

Also LA Banksy fans: don't forget his secret warehouse show is coming up on the 15th, 16th, and 17th...the location will be revealed on Banksy's site, the day of the show.
